IFSF is a community dedicated to enabling technology standards for the benefit of retailers of automotive fuel and energy. ICASA has recently joined the API Work Group which is an excellent opportunity for us to assist in the development of standards for our industry.
The approach of IFSF (International Forecourt Standards Forum) is to collaborate with other standards organizations and relevant institutions to achieve common standards for interoperability of forecourt and convenience devices and services.
Currently IFSF is working with Conexxus on developing and adopting a global standard for mobile indoor and outdoor payments within the fueling and convenience retailing environment.
ICASA has recently joined this Joint Mobile API Work Group, which meets quarterly and gives us the opportunity to assist in the development of standards for the energy industry.
